Customer Services at the Howard Centre

The Howard Centre is located in the heart of Welwyn Garden City. We have more than 50 great stores under one roof, spanning major high street retailers to unique and inspiring independents. We offer a wide variety of convenience shopping through to gifts and specials treats for the family.

At The Howard Centre, customer service is paramount. We pride ourselves on the service we deliver and recently scored over 89% for shopper satisfaction in an independent survey.

With a host of facilities to cater for your every need, along with a professional security and housekeeping team, we really strive to deliver over and above your expectations.

Wheelchairs - There is a Free Shopmobility scheme where wheelchairs and electric scooters are available.  Just call 01707 336688 to book in advance.

Parking for the Disabled - We have 15 parking spaces for the disabled located on Level 0.

Lifts - The centre has three customer lifts two are located at the south end of the centre which serves the car park, shops and drop off point for the railway station and the other at the north end of the centre near Marks & Spencer.

Cash Machines - These are located on the First Floor adjacent to the main lifts at the south end of the centre. Additionally there is a Barclays Bank located in the centre with an external cash machine.

Public Telephones -Two public pay phones are located on the first floor of the centre adjacent to Shopmobility.

Security - For customer security the centre has network of CCTV cameras which cover the Centre, it's car parks and perimeter roads.  Additionally our Security Team can be found on the malls.  They are trained in first aid and are on hand should you require assistance.

Lost Child - If you find a lost child, or become separated from your own child, please find a member of security or alternatively pop into the management suite or telephone 01707 320026. 

Lost Property - If you find an item of lost property, or lose one of your possessions within the public areas of the Howard Centre we have a lost property office within our Management Suite located on the first floor near First Capital Connect Ticket Office, or alternatively telephone Alison Norman, Centre Administrator on 01707 320026.

Toilets - Customer toilets (male/female and disabled) are located on the First Floor, opposite the main lifts at the south end of the centre.

Baby Changing - We have a mother and baby room located on the First Floor next to the public toilets, opposite the main lifts at the south end of the centre.
