Customer Services at the Howard Centre
The Howard Centre is located in the heart of Welwyn Garden City. We have more than 50 great stores under one roof, spanning major high street retailers to unique and inspiring independents. We offer a wide variety of convenience shopping through to gifts and specials treats for the family.
At The Howard Centre, customer service is paramount. We pride ourselves on the service we deliver and recently scored over 89% for shopper satisfaction in an independent survey.
Please let us know if there are any area of the centre you are happy or unhappy with, as we always value the views and comments of our shoppers.
Cash Machines - These are located on the First Floor adjacent to the main lifts at the south end of the centre. Additionally there is a Barclays Bank located in the centre with an external cash machine.
Public Telephones -Two public pay phones are located on the first floor of the centre adjacent to Shopmobility.
Lost Child - If you find a lost child, or become separated from your own child, please find a member of security or telephone the management suite on 01707 320026 where we will send a member of security to meet you.
Lost Property - If you find an item of lost property, or lose one of your possessions within the public areas of the Howard Centre we have a lost property office within our Management Suite.
Toilets - Customer toilets (male/female and disabled) are located on the first floor.
Baby Changing - We have a mother and baby room located on the first floor.
Oxfam Book Bank - Don't throw away your old books bring them along to our book bank and help those less fortunate. We have a brand new book bank on the 3rd level of our car park supplied by Oxfam.The book bank takes any types of books, paperback, hardback, every kind! Oxfam Book Banks are located throughout the country. Simply take unwanted books and drop them in. They are emptied regularly and distributed to the shops for sale.
Car Valet - There is a Car Valet service on the third level of the car park.
General Enquiries - If you would like to contact the Centre Management Team please call 01707 320026 or alternatively you may like to pop into the Management Suite which is located on the first floor next to the First Capital Connect ticket office.
