Boots the Chemist Mega Points Day

Party Day at Miss Selfridge in aid of Lavender Trust

Come along to our special Get in the Pink Party Day in aid of the Lavender Trust Breast Cancer Charity. We will have a DJ in store from 11am until 3pm playing all the latest tunes and there will be a raffle with lots of great prizes and giveaways. Barclays Bank Carling Premiership Trophy

BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE TROPHY VISITS WELWYN GARDEN CITY

Barclays is giving football fans in Welwyn Garden City the opportunity to see first hand the ultimate prize in English football – the Barclays Premier League Trophy.

Fans will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with the Premier league Trophy when it visits the Barclays branch in the Howard Centre, Welwyn Garden City on Friday 3rd October 2008 from 9.00am to 7.30pm. Visitors to the branch on the day can also enter a free prize draw for two tickets to see the Premier League team of their choice.

The UK-wide whirlwind tour of the Barclays Premier League Trophy is designed to bring the most sought after prize in English football closer the fans.

Tracey Edwards, Branch Manager said “I am delighted to give people in Welwyn Garden City the chance to see the Premier League Trophy. Everyone is welcome to come down and have their photo taken with the trophy that was presented to Manchester United last season”.

The Barclays Premier League Trophy is one of the most famous symbols in football. Due to its value, the Barclays Premier League trophy is always flanked by two security guards when on display.

The branch will also be raising funds for Isabel Hospice on the day.
